Spring is here, new camera in hand

Well spring is finally in full force here in Southeastern Wisconsin and we are struggling to adjust to the warm weather and sunlight. To reward ourselves for making it through the long Wisconsin winter and for nearing graduation, we purchased a new digital camera. After many hours, days, and then years of reading camera reviews, I finally settled on a Canon S2 IS which is a 5MP camera complete with 12x optical zoom and image stabilization. You can never rush an engineer when evaluating electronic gizmos and so far I feel that the extensive research has paid off. Amber and I are both happy with camera thus far although we still have much to learn to use the camera to its full potential. This post is mainly to share some of the first pictures we took with the new camera.
